Adventure Team / Crooked Lake Provincial Park
Crooked Lake Provincial Park is located 215 km North East of Weyburn, in the beautiful Qu’Appelle Valley.
It's home to approximately 150 sites with a variety of electric and non-electric sites. This well-maintained park has camping sites with canopies of mature trees to provide shelter on those all too common windy days in this lovely province. The spacious sites allow you to have all your family and friends over for a relaxing fire to end off your fun filled day.
Due to the scorching 40-degree the weekend of their visit, heading down to the lake for a beach day was a must for our Adventure Team. The lake was busy with boaters, kayakers and swimmers trying to beat the heat. Crooked Lake is a perfect retreat for family getaways with playgrounds, hiking trails, and many more outdoor amenities.
A short hike from Crooked Lake is Cedar Cove, a private campground. Here you'll find beautiful cabins that line the lake front, as well a convenience store where you can stock up on almost everything you'd need, especially ice cream!
The small community of Greyson is just 20 kms North of Crooked Lake. Greyson is home to the famous Ottenbreit meat shop with a wide variety of delicious sausage and assorted meats. It is the perfect opportunity to stock up on some delicious treats!
Last Oak Golf & Country Club is a beautiful golf course located just 5 km from the park. This course is a little on the challenging side for your average golfer but definitely worth the drive.
Yet another amazing camping weekend for our Adventure Team, and a great way to wrap up the summer!
