Good Spirit is a gorgeous park located a short 40km west of Yorkton. The biggest draw at this park is easily the beach. Good Spirit plays home to one of Canada’s top 10 beaches, so there is no doubt that the water is always packed with campers. The day we visited the water was packed with campers enjoying many activities including flotation water toys, pontoon boats, and jet skis. The beach was buzzing with families swimming, fishing, and playing energetic games of beach volleyball and tennis!
After working up quite an appetite with all the beach activities we chose to stop by the impressive concession. The menu was abundant with offerings ranging from quick snacks to full meals, and our favourite treat…. Ice-Cream, with more flavours than you could imagine!
At Good Spirit resort, there is an enjoyable 18-hole golf course, and if a full 18-holes isn’t your think, there is a fun Par Tici Putt mini golf course. The Par Tici Putt was a fun way to spend the afternoon with live entertainment, adult refreshments, and great food.
This park was nothing short of beautiful from the well treed site with large firepits to the many hiking trails and natural sand dunes. Fireworks on the beach for Canada Day were easily the best way to cap off an excellent weekend of camping! We will definitely visit again.
